IGR Party Card
Students have two options when it comes to weekly parties. They can pay one evening at a time for a cost of $10 per evening per person, or they can purchase 6 admissions for the discounted price of $50 per person and save $10 per person per card. If you plan on being a regular attender at weekly parties, we highly recommend purchasing and IGR Party Card. The card never expires and saves you money, and it saves us the hassle of making change every week as people filter in. Just hand us your card as you enter, we'll punch it, and you're good to go. Simple.
Party Cards do come with a couple limitations. First, these cards may only be used for full price party admission. Usually, if you come Friday and Saturday, your second evening is half the normal cost (half of $10), but this half-price admission does not apply if you choose to use your party card. Second, if you lose your card, you're out of luck, so be sure you hold on to it just as carefully as you would a nice crisp greenback of similar value.
One final point worth mentioning about Party Cards is how well-suited they are to being given as gifts. Let's say you know a couple who you're sure would benefit from learning ballroom together, but you're equally as certain that if you wrote them a check, they would use the money for something of far less lasting value to their marriage. What to do? Give them a couple of party cards to get them started. Since there's no expiration, they can use the cards as often or as sporadically they like. It's one gift they're unlikely to forget.
