Your First Dance
A couple's first dance can be one of the most memorable moments of their lives, given the appropriate preparation. It can also be a very frustrating experience for those who wait until the last minute.
We strongly recommend that couples who forsee themselves getting married in the near future begin dancing as soon as possible. The longer a couple waits to learn the basics of the dance they will be performing, the more difficult the learning process will be, especially for the gentleman, who is responsible for leading the dance. Regular practice and repetition over an extended period is by far superior to a few concentrated lessons just prior to the wedding.
The good news is that a couple can learn the basics of most any suitable first dance by regularly attending our weekly parties over a period of a few months and can do so at a fraction of the cost of private lessons. Through regular attendance of group activities, not only will a couple's dancing become more natural and thereby more enjoyable for the wedding, but they stand to retain what they've learned far longer than they would simply by taking a few quick lessons a week or two before the wedding. After getting down some basics at weekly parties, then take private lessons as needed to fine tune your dance and make it look really spectacular!
